A “Woody - Amber – Solar floral” fragrance, Alien was created in 2005 by Dominique Ropion and Laurent Bruyère of IFF. It is the product of the audacious excess of two powerful notes, brightened by a luminous floral tone. The perfume is composed of three “revelations”:

Born in Johannesburg in 1986, the new face of A*Men became a world-class sprinter with carbon fiber artificial limbs. Oscar Pistorius, who had both of his legs amputated when he was eleven months old and who now runs with the help of two metal prosthetics,won several medals at the 2004 Paralympic games in Athens.

He became triple world record holder and triple Paralympic champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meter races, was named among the world’s one hundred most influent people in the 
“heroes and Pioneers” category by Time magazine in 2008 
and qualified last Tuesday (July 19, 2011) for the World Championships in Korea this August, 
by running the 400 meter race in Lignano (Italy) in 45.07 seconds 
(the maximum qualifying time was 45.25 seconds).

His performance was outstanding–more than one second faster than in his first 400 meter race of the season. But beyond that, 
Oscar Pistorius made the dream he has fought to achieve for many years a reality: 
he has realized the qualification mark for the 2012 London Olympics. 
And to participate to this extraordinary competition, 
he has to achieve this time once again between January, 
1st and June, 30th, 2012.

His struggle to run alongside able-bodied athletes in the most prestigious competition in the world is a testament to the young South African’s perseverance and his extraordinary will power.

Lady Gaga Walks The Catwalk At Mugler Fashion Show

Paris Fashion Week has begun!

It was all latex and two 3ft platinum 'ponytails' for Lady Gaga, not to mention a short black fringe at Thierry Mugler show Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011.

Creative director and Lady Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti, created a fashion show that got Gaga dancing around in skimpy latex corset and pencil skirts smoking a cigarette, walking in sky high shoes.

Lady Gaga told The Daily Telegraph, "I was nervous, but I had to do it for Nicola and for Thierry Mugler, whom I love. I have been a fan of his designs since I was 18, and I used to search the vintage shops in New York for his clothes."

Looked like one hell of a fashion show...
