To celebrate DFS Masters of Fragrances, Roberto Cavalli has designed the most exclusive version ever produced of one of its iconic fragrances, Roberto Cavalli Oud Edition. Limited to three pieces only, this work of art was inspired by the designer’s passion for gold. 

Roberto Cavalli Gold Edition blends the noblest perfumery ingredients. It opens with a sweet and luminous top note of saffron that gives way to the woody and animal tones of sensual oud wood—the gold standard in Arabic perfumery. The fragrance closes on a deep root note of incense that adds a subtle veil of mystery.

To shelter such a vibrant and addictive elixir, an ultra-luxurious flask was designed. The bottle and the crown-shaped stopper, featuring Roberto Cavalli’s initials, were entirely covered with white gold leaf by skilled craftsmen. Around the neck of this exquisite container, a mosaic made of 138 artfully cut extra-white diamonds and 121 black diamonds was set by a master jeweller in homage to Roberto Cavalli’s emblematic animal patterns. Removable, the collar becomes a precious ring that can be worn on one’s finger or on a gold chain.

This unique treasure comes with a daring minaudière case conceived by the Italian designer himself. It is crafted from gold-plated brass printed with a croco effect. The eagle-shaped tassel asserts the flamboyant majesty of this most sophisticated Baroque piece.

The bottle and its minaudière are displayed in a visually striking lockable jewel case made of rich brown and leopard printed satin.

Bound to surpass all norms and standards in the fragrance industry with its innovative technology, LADY GAGA FAME is the first ever blackEau de Parfum that sprays clear and becomes invisible once airborne. The black-to-clear fragrance is a fantastic innovation of patent pending fluid technology, exclusively launched with LADY GAGA FAME. Gaga collaborated with fashion industry legends in the creation of LADY GAGA FAME: the bottle was designedin collaboration with Nick Knight, and the ad campaign was directed and photographed by Steven Klein.

The innovations in LADY GAGA FAME go beyond the black-to-clear fluid:  the olfactory structure itself is also very rare for the fragrance industry. Traditionally, perfumes have a pyramidal structure - a hierarchy of sorts with top, middle and base notes. This fragrance, on the other hand, has a unique structure called the "push-pull technology," where the ingredients interact together to highlight different olfactive aspects of each note at the same time, without any hierarchy. All of the notes were crafted to work together harmoniously thanks to the complimentary properties of each ingredient, which allow for a true metamorphosis of the scent when worn on skin.

The scent is built around three main accords: dark, sensual and light. The dark accord was inspired by Belladonna, the deadly nightshade possessed by haunted beauties since the 18th century. From this darkness, the fragrance evolves to a sensual accord of opulence, a fusion of dripping honey, saffron and apricot nectar. And lastly, the light accord whispers magnificence. The rich floral layer of crushed Tiger Orchid & Jasmine Sambac embodies timeless beauty. The accords work together to create a fragrance of floral and fruity elements, with the star ingredient inspired by Belladonna leveling out the whole fragrance and giving LADY GAGA FAME its signature as a scent.

This is what Custo Dalmau says about the new challenge. Freedom and freshness are part of the purest concept of Custo Barcelona. The two principles underpinned the originality of the project and are the catalysts of the brand’s development since its inception.

Pure means the essence and also gives its name to the clothing range that is most intrinsically linked to the concept of Custo Barcelona.

Men's

A fragrance full of contrasts, mystery and character. Like the peacock, it is striking and exo- tic.

The top note sparkles with citrics such as bergamot, lemon and tangerine, contrasting with the floral note provided by neroli. Vegetal amber and cedar contribute masculinity and mys- tery.

The middle note reveals the exotic spirit of the fragrance with a floral nuance.

The bottom note is elegant and sensual thanks to the blend of oriental notes, between incen- se and Tonka beans, with the strength of patchouli and the wild nature of musk.

Women's 

The female version of the fragrance is bright, bold and addictive. Its vocation, like the pea- cock, 

is to seduce.

Its top note is fresh and free, just like the fashion of Custo Barcelona was at the beginning of its adventure. Mediterranean bergamot and lemon blend their citric notes with the warm and exotic seduction of ginger. The green notes of sage underscore femininity while providing an aura of freshness.

The middle note is full of personality, with a contrast between the floral blend of intriguing violet and the exotic notes provided by fruits, pepper and the modern Super Hedione.

The bottom note reveals sensuality and feminine appeal thanks to the contrast of fragrant wood notes with intense musk and the sweetness of vanilla.
