Adam Levine launching his Menswear Line

Adam Levine wants men to feel relaxed in his new clothing line.

The Maroon 5 frontman is launching a new menswear line called 222 for Kmart. With pieces including chequered shirts, T-shirts and dark denim jeans Adam has catered to what he believes men find appealing.

He hopes his "simple" designs will make things a lot more straightforward for males.

"I think that men, to a large degree, like things to be easy. That's a big deal for me - I don't want to have to think about it. I think easy is the key and it's simple and classic and you can't go wrong with this. No one thinks this is ugly," he explained in a promotional video as he holds up a green and white gingham shirt.

Adam hopes his collection will make men feel "comfortable" and stand out from other brands on the market. He wants people to wear the ensembles in both casual and smart environments as he believes

David Beckham teams up with Guy Ritchie for H&M

Film director Guy Ritchie has captured David Beckham's forthcoming advertising campaign for his H&M Bodywear collection.

Back in October, a group of movie star-hunting tourists in Beverly Hills got more than they bargained for when a brief-clad David Beckham popped up roadside.

We assumed Becks was shooting some new promotional material for his latest H&M underwear campaign, but the whole set-up (him wandering around in a load of bushes) did leave us scratching our heads.

Now it has been revealed that the heavily-inked footballer was in fact being filmed by Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director Guy Ritchie, for an advert due out on February 6.

Rex reveal how the 37-year-old, who is currently pondering his footballing future, sees Beckham run through the streets and gardens of Beverly Hills, dressed only in his boxer shorts.

"David makes the perfect leading man," said Ritchie. "For me this felt more than a campaign - it was like directing a short film."
Behind the scenes pictures show David padding through a tennis court in flannel hotel slippers and losing his dressing gown to a car door.

Alexander McQueen Menswear returns with "Gangsters"

Alexander McQueen marked its return to London's fashion calendar with a creepily compelling autumn/winter 2013 menswear collection.

Snaffling Sarah Burton's masculine output from Milan is the most notable coup in this London Collections: Men schedule. Yet as the audience gingerly settled itself into the rickety chairs lining a Dickensian, East End warren of wood-panelled rooms, one question begged itself - why did McQueen ever leave London at all?

After all, the capital is riddled with perfect backdrops for the artfully discordant brand of fashion that is McQueen's speciality.

Take this collection, which featured a cast of hollow cheeked models stalking those mournful rooms in oversized, elongated suits that made them resemble a mob of sallow gangsters. For extra jitter, some wore cinematic serial killer semi-transparent face masks. Traditional Savile Row decorations including chalk-stripe, Bengal, polka dot and Prince of Wales were cut up and rearranged into a kaleidoscope of nerdy menswear references, under Pinkie-perfect peaked shoulders.

Men in tights: Manly or....??

Men's tights, for so long the preserve of ballet dancers and runway models, are taking Manhattan by storm and could soon be seen on the street of Britain.

When trendsetters speculated what would be the defining men's fashion movement to sweep New York this winter, few opted for the male legging.

But "Megging", as the male legging is known, is now all the rage in sartorial circles. Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Russell Brand and Lenny Kravitz have all been spotted wearing leggings, while fashion stores Uniqlo, Barneys and Nordstrom are selling tights for men.

The bad news is they are on their way to Britain: Uniqlo is already selling them on its British website, and their success in New York is seen as an indication they will also prove popular here.

They are expected to follow on from the trend for "skinny jeans" on men, which have become a staple of the British high street.

Some New Yorkers, however, see the "megger" as an affront to masculinity. Gabriel Cru, 35, from the Bronx, said: "Men in tights? Get out of here. We don't do men in tights in New York. That's European!"

Ladies, do you like or do you not like?? Tell us here ;)

Christian Louboutin’s first UK mens' shop

Mayfair's Dover Street welcomes French label Christian Louboutin's men-only shoe emporium.

His red soles are synonymous with the heel-clad feet of Victoria Beckham, Rihanna and Kate Moss, but now Christian Louboutin has a dedicated store to cater to his male fans.

A two-story retail space on London's Dover Street - also home to Acne, Vanessa Bruno and McQ - has opened its doors, and there's not a stiletto in sight.

Decked in a red carpet described by Louboutin HQ as a "deeper, more masculine hue" than the one decorating its women's' stores, lashings of leather hides adorn the space, where spike-studded loafers and gold hi-tops take centre stage.

The London boutique is Christian Louboutin's fourth men's-only store; two in the US were launched in recent months following on from the first in Paris last year, which was opened to accommodate the growing demand and popularity of the brand's masculine offering.

Selfridges opens largest men’s shoe department in the world

With over 3,000 styles to choose from, there's no longer an excuse to be having a 'shame on shoe' moment on Oxford Street.

Luxury department store Selfridges, the behemoth which commands an entire block on Oxford Street, has today unveiled its new men's footwear concept.

Its first floor is now home to 72,000 pairs of shoes, making it the largest men's shoe department in the world, with over 250 brands and a made-to-order shoe salon.

Prices range from a reasonable £25 for Havaianas flip-flops to over £10,000 for bespoke boots by Tom Ford. There is even a section dedicated to driving shoes - Selfridges' best performing men's shoe category - with practical offerings from the likes of Tod's, Gucci, Carshoe, Bottega Veneta and Prada housed in a salon inspired by the bodywork of vintage Ferraris.

"The new space is one of the cornerstones of our Menswear Masterplan - the ongoing development of men's fashion at Selfridges," explained David Walker-Smith, director of menswear at the chain.
The concept follows in the footsteps of the women's Shoe Galleries, which launched at the Oxford Street site in 2010. Shoe giant Kurt Geiger, who owns hundreds of shoe departments in stores across the country, is responsible for overseeing the edit of casual and luxury shoes.

A host of brands new to the Selfridges footwear roster, such as Kenzo, McQ, Burberry and Barbour have been welcomed into the fold while Lanvin, Versace, Dr. Martens and Trickers have all created styled exclusive to the store. In February next year, Christian Louboutin's red-soled men's collection will be housed in a dedicated boutique - a world first for the French designer.

"Our aim is to truly amaze our customers, and take ownership of core categories within our business by offering the very best international brands within bespoke retail environments," added Walker-Smith.
Just last week the retailer announced sales had broken the £1 billion barrier for the first time in its 103-year history.

Men... Careful what Tight Jeans can do to you!!

The number of men suffering from painful testicular problems is on the rise - thanks to the current fashion for tight jeans, experts have claimed.

Medical experts, including Dr Hilary Jones, have reported an increase in injuries being caused by the jeans, which are favoured by celebs such as Russell Brand, Jude Law and Joey Essex.

The trendy denims are causing twisted testicles, bladder weakness and even urinary tract infections.
Low sperm count and fungal infections are also being put down to the tight-fitting jeans.

Yesterday Dr Jones, who is working with TENA on a project to highlight the dangers, said: ''I have seen several cases of men who have twisted their testicles due to wearing jeans that are far too tight.

''My advice would be to make sure you leave plenty of room around the groin area and that your pants and trousers feel comfortable so you're not being restricted in any way.

''Men who wear tight or ill-fitting trousers, or underwear which is restrictive around the groin area could be damaging their health.

''Wearing tight-fitting clothing over a prolonged period of time can lead to urinary tract infections leading to over-activity of the bladder - a type of bladder weakness as well as a low sperm count and fungal infections.
''Please don't put style before health.''

The Abercrombie boys want you to Call them

Abercrombie & Fitch have added to the huge number of 'Call Me Maybe' covers, but who cares if it looks this good?

Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' has spawned many a humorous take-off, but we think this version is definitely the easiest on the eye.

Buff male models from Abercrombie & Fitch stores all over the world have joined forces to create a transatlantic cover which even features our very own 'London Collection' from the Savile Row store.

Abercrombie featured Jepsen's annoyingly catchy song on their heavily-rotated, blaringly-loud in-store soundtrack back in October 2011, so felt it appropriate to mark their recognition of musical talent with their very own version.
Cue topless (of course), denim-clad, flip-flopped models from London, Paris, New York and Barcelona dancing and miming in front of national landmarks, in subways, and even popping up from flowerbeds purely for your viewing pleasure! Lol!

L'Oréal heir set to debut Menswear Line this Summer

The inaugural collection of the Exemplaire label, co-founded by Jean-Victor Meyers, grandson of Liliane Bettencourt of the L'Oréal cosmetics company, and Louis Leboiteux, is set to be in stores in the coming month.

When contacted by Relaxnews, the label stated that no precise date could be given at this time but that the collection would be shown in a media presentation and have its retail launch in June.

Initially created in February, Exemplaire's collection will consist mainly of articles in cashmere including sweaters, jackets and scarves. Basing its designs around a classic aesthetic, the brand will also sell trendier peices like Teddy-style jackets.

Currently, the label's website indicates four retailers that will carry the collection -- in New York, Beverly Hills, London and Paris.
