Diane von Furstenberg is offering one lucky person the job of a lifetime via a new reality TV series - to travel the world as an official ambassador for her fashion label

Do you fancy travelling the world as an ambassador for one of the world's biggest fashion brands à la Olivia Palermo or Alexa Chung? Yes? Then read on.

As part of a "transformational docu-series for the millennial fashionista", Diane von Furstenberg is looking for eight potential 'brand ambassadors' who will be whittled down to one worthy winner throughout the series, set to air on a major cable network next year. The successful participant will then represent the DVF brand at "cultural happenings, store opening, premier fashion events and contribute to philanthropic endeavours" all over the world.

So if you class yourself as a "millennial fashionista" and have ever looked at Chung et al and thought 'I could do that', why not apply?

Go inside the Hermes atelier at the Saatchi Gallery

Hermès' Festival des Métiers exhibition will bring the iconic French fashion house's skilled artisans to London's Saatchi Gallery to allow the public to witness the creation of some of its most iconic pieces.

We've often dreamt of visiting Hermès' workshops, and now we can thanks to Festival des Métiers arrival at London's Saatchi Gallery.

The week-long exhibition will allow visitors to witness the creation of some of the French brand's most iconic pieces, such as silk scarves, handbags, watches and fine jewellery.

The fashion house's skilled artisans will decamp from their Paris workshop to take up residency in the King's Road gallery from May 21-27, where they will go about their everyday tasks but in front of an audience. Visitors will be encouraged to interact with the craftspeople throughout the seven days in order to experience their unique savoir-faire first hand.

 The Sharq Village Hotel was glamoured on the 16th of Januray on a  Sunday evening by two young aspiring fashionistas.  Fatma Al Thani and Noor Al Thani. Both owners of fashion blogs, Noor and Fatma have achieved a great deal and established their names in under a year. Their blogs receive approximately 3000 visitors daily, not only within the Gulf region but World Wide. They have interviewed some of the most influential names in the fashion world, created affiliations with companies such as net-a-porter.com, and it is due to such continuous ambition that they have come to start their very own Qatar based High Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine.

 The Fashion Foward  Fatma Al Thani and Noor Al Thani are working together on HauteMuse Fashion Magazine, which will be launched in Spring 2011 and distributed in the Gulf, and Europe. Hosting their first fashion event, in collaboration with Machtesfashion.com, a place where you can shop for the most stylish and latest collections of fashion brands, and Stylist Iman Pasha, Olivia Palermo was invited as a guest of honor to shop with the guests. Olivia is a socialite, and model who appeared on the reality TV show, The City. She is often seen on the front rows of fashion shows and has created a collection of necklaces in collaboration with Roberta Freymann. In December 2010, Vogue.com named her as one of the year’s best-dressed people.

Stylist Iman Pasha was a huge asset in Olivia’s astounding appeal. Iman stems from an impressive fashion background that includes personal/editorial styling and fashion journalism. She is a freelance writer, contributing editor of Niche Magazine and weekly fashion columnist for the Express Tribune an affiliate of the Herald Tribune. 

The HauteMuse team was very happy to collaborate with such influential people in the fashion world, which in return, led to such a rewarding and highly successful event. Many guests flew in from Kuwait, Bahrain, U.A.E and other Gulf Countries to attend this prestigious event.
