I'm not sure how long we all have been waiting for this day "i know i have" and finally a FABULOUS wedding with a show-stopper dress inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding gown, and a real live elephant for good luck (LOVE THIS BIT). Both her wishes came true as she married Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden at her father Lionel Richie’s home on Dec. 11.
They tied the knot in front of their children – Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer – under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden.
“It was magical,” Richie, 29, tells PEOPLE. Adds Madden, 31: “It was the best night of my life.”
The night was so magical that Nicole couldn’t wear just one wedding dress … she had to wear 3 different Marchesa dresses. The dress featured above was made out of 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals. As far as we know, Joel wore only one tuxedo All of the photos from Nicole and Joel‘s wedding will be featured in the new issue of People magazine, on stands this week. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy
